One week until the marathon
Ran the Winter Beaches Run as a bandit today. Only ran the first half. My foot was getting a little sore. I've had a problem with the foot since my 20-mile run last Saturday. I think the shoes were laced too tight.
This week I have to pick up the team jerseys, and raise some money.
Donate to Team Juggernauts here.

Unprovoked money grab
Tallahassee trampled home-rule earlier this week with the passage of the property tax amendment. Today, I was renewing my corporation when I was nailed by the Governor again. In years past, this was a $50 fee. This year, not only do we pay the $50, but there is a lovely new supplemental corporate fee that we have to pay to the tune of an extra $88.75. With the new fee, renewing a corporation jumped 178%. Gee, thanks Charlie.

Another positive Garmin story
If you need a GPS, buy a Garmin. These folks take care of their customers.
20-mile run tomorrow
Weather forecast at the beach is **AWESOME**. It'll be 45 at 0700, warming to 54 by 1000, with a slight breeze from the NNE. One last chance to run the course and then begin the taper.
