Mini-Y2K
I heard that the newly modified Daylight Savings Time schedule would cause problems and was being considered a mini-Y2K. I just found out that my Treo needs to be updated because of the new schedule. Technology always seems to have a 'gotcha' moment.

Very mini. Y2K had the potential for disaster due to financial databases used by banks being totally screwed up due to the 2 digit year vs 4 digit year indexing problem. The DST debacle is an inconvenience that will cause tempers to flare, blood pressure to rise, and consumers to make the choice to spend money to upgrade their existing products (if possible), replace with new compliant products, or just deal with it.
